HYWC is a non profit sports organization that teaches the sport of wrestling to children from Kindergarten through 8th grades. We teach sportsmanship, self discipline and positive encouragement. We are a non discriminatory organization that encourages all children to participate in the sport of wrestling. Wrestling is both a team sport and an individual sport where the child can excel through team work outs and independant training. Wrestling is a lifelong sport that is passed from generation to generation.

WENDY'S NITE OUTS ARE MONTHLY AND WE NEED ALL THE SUPPORT WE CAN GET THROUGH MAXIMUM PARTICIPATION OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY. IT'S AN EXTREMELY SIMPLE WAY FOR THE CLUB TO RAISE MONEY WITHOUT ANY COST FROM THE CLUB.
OUR TOURNAMENT HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 23, 2016. WE WILL NEED ALOT OF SUPPORT FROM THE PARENTS DURING THE TOURNAMENT; MANNING SCORING TABLES, WORKING THE TOURNAMENT TABLE, SET UP AND TAKE DOWN, AND CLEANING. WRESTLING MATS WILL BE PROVIDED BY CENTRAL VA YOUTH WRESTLING ASSOCIATION AND WE WILL NEED ASSISTANCE ON FRIDAY EVENING TO LAYOUT THE MATS AND TAPE THEM DOWN. TABLES, CHAIRS AND FIRST AID NECESSITIES FOR EACH MAT WILL NEED TO BE SET UP TOO.
